Sophie, our Pug

We had just gotten Jag, our Bengal kitten (at the time...) and we hadn't discussed getting anther dog. However Sophie needed a new home and we couldn't say no. At the time I didn't know it, but she had us under her control from the first second. It was only about 20 minutes after we got her home that I noticed how she was already following us from room to room and always wanted to be around us. She has never changed.
There is a couple of things that no one ever seems to tell people about pugs. Things that I certainly didn't know and things that I think most people don't know..... 1) Pug's shed lots of fur! Lots & lots & lots & lots! It seems to me like they could almost shoot it like little fur missiles getting it everywhere. 2) Pug's are gassy. Sophie was a very
Sophie loves children. One of her greatest delights is running circles around a 3 year old who is screeching with delight. The sound sets her off to want to run and play with the toddler. If she even sees a young child she will start running around them, they don't have to do anything. Sophie is also just as likely to play a frantic running round in circle game with anyone that want to chase and run no matter the age. She is very energetic.
We may not have known that we were going to get Sophie when we got her, but were thankful that she came to live with us. She is a blessing and has showered us with love everyday that she has been in our family. To share your life with a pug is wonderful..
